WHEN: Thursday, October 20th, 6:30 p.m.
At this ZOOM lecture, Cassandra, a certified Aufifilosopher, will present a fun and informative presentation and trunk show of her award winning quilts. She will take you behind the scenes to see how she created the Endangered Species Block of the Month designs to accompany the Aurifil 2021 Color Builder Collections. Attendees will come away with an increased knowledge of thread, tools, uses, tips, and some exclusive Aurifil swag.
ABOUT CASSANDRA BEAVER
Cassandra is a pattern designer, quilting educator, and blogger, based in west-central Ohio. She uses her training in art and theatrical design to create work that merges modern, traditional, and art quilting aesthetics. Cassandra’s award winning quilts draw inspiration from nature, architecture, and art. Four of her quilts reside in the permanent collection of the National Quilt Museum.
